Ex-presso Breakup!
A Group Therapy Space for Working Through Breakups
Breakups suck. They’re confusing, overwhelming, and often isolating. Especially when you’re juggling work, life, and the pressure to “move on” quickly. Ex-presso Breakup is a five-week online group therapy experience designed for adults who want a no-nonsense, structured, and reflective space to process their breakup.
This is not a ‘how to move on in 5 steps’ program.
Try our self-assessment here to know how you’re doing with your breakup!

What to Expect
A blend of Cinema Therapy + evidence-based techniques
- Films have a way of helping us see ourselves. We’ll use characters, and story arcs as mirrors—paired with evidence-based tools—to untangle thoughts, patterns, and reactions.
Not just talk. Activities too.
- Worksheets, guided prompts, and group discussions to help you engage at your own pace—whether you’re someone who reflects quietly or prefers to share.
Structured but flexible.
- Each session is planned with a theme and objective. You can participate as actively or reflectively as feels right for you.
Is This Group for You?
You’re probably a good fit if:
- Your breakup was of a dating relationship (not a marriage or engagement).
- You have access to stable internet.
- You’re willing to reflect—whether through sharing or through solo activities.
- You’re not in an acute crisis (e.g. severe depression, current suicidal thoughts).
- You’re fluent in English (All our sessions have two movie options – one English and one Hindi.)
- You’re curious about your own emotions and want to make sense of your breakup.
What You’ll Work On
- Making sense of emotional chaos
- Identifying what the breakup brings up about you (identity, values, boundaries)
- Building tools to regulate distress
- Learning from fictional characters and real peers
- Rebuilding inner stability and self-trust
